After a late morning thunderstorm, I made my way up to Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge for the first time this year. Unfortunately, the place is still pretty rough following the flood of 2011 and has yet to recover. I hope that more of it is restored to where it was before all the flooding made such a mess of it. The water is very high compared to a year ago, although not quite at flood levels.
